Bead embroidery is a technique for adding beads to fabric using traditional embroidery stitches, just add a bead (or beads) before you pass the needle through the fabric. Unlike bead weaving, in which the beads are stitched to one another, this technique asks for some sort of backing which the beads will be sewn onto. Bead embroidery is usually used as decoration for clothing or in jewelry, but tapestries are also made. You can also use it for cabochon setting, but I'll cover beading around the cab in one of the following articles.

I admire you all. I think I could never do bead embroidery. My fingers would probably become pincushions :D
Fortunately for me, there's enough of you pros I don't even have to try. I can just sit and enjoy looking at fruits of your hands.

You're welcome. I actually made a bit of a mess with this feature because I forgot to put the amazing deviation that inspired me to make this feature. Oh well, next time.
