Bead crochet, as the name suggests, is crocheting with beads. What we usually have in mind when we say bead crochet is slinky crocheted rope, but the truth is that anything that can be crocheted without beads can be made with them too. You only have to string beads on yarn before you start working. You can also use wire or different types of cord instead of yarn. Turkish crochet, as ~Craftcove has explained to me, is made with loops of beads and the next stitch is worked through the middle of each loop. Regular crochet is done with one bead per stitch.

yeah, totally.
and I just watched a video about it. doesn't seem to be too complicated if you know how to crochet.
you can't take a long thread like a whole ball of wool, since you have to put the beads on the thread, but the result is really amazing <3

Actually, you do string all your beads and use the whole spool of yarn.

CatsWire, try it! It is very and very easy and much faster) For example my City Pink here is in that style, and interesting thing it turned out to be more oval than round.

Thanks for favoring City pink ^_^

My pleasure. I'm not an expert on crochet, but I like the way bead crochet and wire crochet look so I just had to make an article on the subject :D

You're welcome. I had some help from craftcove, otherwise I wouldn't be able to explain what Turkish crochet is. I've heard of it but had no idea what it really is.
